Abstract
⺠Sawing efficiencies of two sawblades with diverse damping capacities were evaluated. ⺠The sandwich-core sawblade exhibited less active power consumption and specific wear rate. ⺠Higher force ratio of the conventional type sawblade indicated lower stability. ⺠About 10 dB less noise emission was achieved with the sandwich-core sawblade.
