Abstract
The Britannia Beach Sustainable Development Project is an on-going project-in-progress aimed at transforming the “worst ARD metal polluting mine in North America” into a clean, liveable, sustainable community. This paper presents some of the key elements involved in putting this program into place and drawing the diverse site-stakeholders together to share in a common vision of the future for the town.
