Abstract
Ibiza, a small island in the Mediterranean, has a well-deserved reputation as a party paradise though it is an island also prone to black outs and water shortages. Her mascot to industrialization; the centralized stacks of her diesel burning power plant, belch forth a yellow haze in complement to the strength of the setting sun. It is the ideal environment for solar energy. Renewable energy consultant, Michael Plescia reports on a recent project from the island that is already exploiting the island's abundant solar energy resource.
