Abstract

Electrical demand is growing around the world. Consensus is mounting that non-carbon-based, RE sources should be employed to close the supply-demand gap. Solar PV systems are among the most promising electrical generation technologies to emerge in recent decades. However, the potential of PV to meet growing demand has up until now been limited by manufacturing considerations. Dr. John R. Tuttle, CEO and President of DayStar Technologies, addresses these challenges and proposes practical solutions that are projected to fulfill the promise of photovoltaics.
