Abstract
⺠Successful implementation of an enhanced recovery field trial for methane drainage ⺠Accelerated drainage of methane was achieved using nitrogen gas as an injectant. ⺠Negligible post-trial residual methane content was not demonstrated. ⺠Reservoir water saturation heterogeneity is considered significant in this trial.
