Abstract
Although the introduced model does not capture the whole complexity of a miscible flow in fractured porous media due to its inherent characteristics, it can be used to estimate fully miscible transport processes in naturally fractured reservoirs, including CO2 flooding and the early stages of sequestration, as it has the capability of representing the complexity of natural fracture networks and matrix interaction. The simplifications used in the modeling and the limitations of the suggested technique are described as well.
