Abstract
⺠Effective viscosity of six crude oil based emulsions was measured using a flow loop. ⺠Inversion point and in-situ droplet sizes were measured for flow induced emulsions. ⺠Measurements are analyzed based on the physicochemical properties of the crudes. ⺠Influence of crude properties on droplet formation, inversion and effective viscosity. ⺠Results about different behaviors that crude emulsions present during pipe flow.
