Abstract
⺠Friction factor charts are developed for high and low Reynolds numbers and presence of cuttings. ⺠Proposed friction factor equations are functions of total Reynolds number and cuttings bed thickness. ⺠Fluid velocity is the major parameter affecting cuttings transport inside wellbores.
