Timing-error-difference calibration of a two-dimensional array imaging system using the overlapping-subaperture algorithm

► The difference between transmitting and receiving electronic channels needs to be calibrated. ► The overlapping-subaperture algorithm is designed to calibrate these differences. ► The overlapping subaperture algorithm is used to calibrate a custom built imaging system. ► Results show that it can calibrate these differences with a standard deviation of only a few ns.
