Abstract
⺠This paper presents a system that accurately measures the distance travelled by ultrasound waves through the air. ⺠The designed system provides a tool for non-contact distance measurements. ⺠Method could be used for contactless investigation of the surface. ⺠Transducers with front layer works as an acoustic lens focusing energy in front of the transducer.
