Abstract
⺠A complete model of piezoelectric air-coupled transducers is presented. ⺠The transducers are modelled in 1D using a linear systems model. ⺠Wave propagation is modelled in 3D using the local interaction simulation approach. ⺠Ray-racing is used to combine the transducer and propagation models. ⺠The model shows good agreement with theory.
