Abstract
⺠The Vlasov equation for perturbation of the distribution function has been solved. ⺠The tensor of dielectric permeability of the current sheath plasma has been calculated. ⺠The dispersion equation for possible instability modes has been obtained. ⺠The instability of the current sheath of the magnetospheric tail has been investigated. ⺠The influence of the effect of plasma polarization has been investigated.
