Abstract
⺠We characterized different scattering and wrapping materials. ⺠We measured the tagging efficiency of the Compton scattering process in the laboratory set-up. ⺠We performed Montecarlo simulations of the laboratory set-up and of the active focal plane Compton polarimeter design. ⺠We evaluate the sensitivity of an active focal plane Compton polarimeter.
