Abstract
Crystal structure analysis was carried out on two novel, urea–urethane developers for high-performance thermo-sensitive paper. Crystals of the compounds displayed a multiple hydrogen-bonded network between the urea and urethane moieties, which stabilized the fluoran dyes, thereby imparting high fastness to printed images.
