Abstract
The low-frequency electric microfield distribution for fields at a point with charge equal to the plasma constituents is calculated for a wide range of ion–ion coupling and electron screening parameters in the 3D one-component Yukawa fluid domain. We use a modified adjustable-parameter exponential method incorporating the variational modified hypernetted chain approach. The results are represented by analytic fitting formulas suitable for applications.
