Abstract
⺠We summarize what is known about the comet's orbit and physical characteristics. ⺠We conducted an intensive astronomical search to recover Comet 85P/Boethin. ⺠New techniques were developed to search for faint objects in crowded star fields. ⺠The comet was not found and likely broke apart.
