Abstract
⺠We examine spectral reflectance properties of CO carbonaceous chondrites. ⺠We analyze the spectra in terms of mineralogy, metamorphic grade and grain size. ⺠CO spectra exhibit absorption features near 1 and 2 μm due to olivine (+glass) and spinel. ⺠CO spectra become brighter with increasing metamorphic grade. ⺠Absorption features become deeper with increasing metamorphic grade.
