Evidence for Amazonian northern mid-latitude regional glacial landsystems on Mars: Glacial flow models using GCM-driven climate results and comparisons to geological observations

► Many northern mid-latitude fretted valleys contain lineated valley fill (LVF). ► The LVF has flow-like features been interpreted to be glacial in origin. ► Glacial flow models linked to atmospheric GCMs support this interpretation. ► LDF consistent with snow accumulation in alcoves and alpine valley glaciation. ► Also consistent with significant accumulation/glaciation on plateaus/regional plains.
