Abstract
⺠Many northern mid-latitude fretted valleys contain lineated valley fill (LVF). ⺠The LVF has flow-like features been interpreted to be glacial in origin. ⺠Glacial flow models linked to atmospheric GCMs support this interpretation. ⺠LDF consistent with snow accumulation in alcoves and alpine valley glaciation. ⺠Also consistent with significant accumulation/glaciation on plateaus/regional plains.
