Abstract
⺠Mid-IR ethane emission lines by HIPWAC (Râ¼1E6) 3 weeks after 2009 Jupiter impact. ⺠Increased ethane abundance retrieved at the impact region (â¼60%). ⺠Elevated continuum at impact region modeled with opacity around 45-60 mbar level. ⺠Reduced continuum <80° east of impact region modeled with opacity around tropopause. ⺠Stratospheric eastward zonal transport of ⩾21 m/s.
