Abstract
⺠We compared 13 NIR spectra of two asteroid families and found significant differences. ⺠Themis family spectra have positive slopes from 1.6 to 2.4 μm. ⺠Veritas family spectra in contrast have flat slopes from 1.6 to 2.4 μm. ⺠Themis family spectra have positive concavities from 1.0 to 1.5 μm ⺠Veritas family spectra have negative concavities from 1.0 to 1.5 μm.
