Abstract

Novel complexes of Co(II), UO2(II) and Cu(II) ions with new Schiff bases derived from salicylaldehyde, ammonium benzoate and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of triethylamine via one pot three component reaction have been synthesized and characterized by several techniques using elemental analyses (CHN), infrared, mass spectroscopy, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and UV–vis spectra.
