Abstract
⺠First laboratory measurements of NOX generated by proton impact in air. ⺠This experiment quantifies the production efficiency of NOX by proton impact in air. ⺠Efficiency for NOX production is on average 0.2 NOX molecules per ion-pair. ⺠Produced NOX increases with the duration of the proton beam and current.
