Abstract
⺠Unlike long-term behavior, PV intrudes into west of Indian sector during the SSW 2009. ⺠Due to PV advection at upper levels, deep convection is induced east of PV downstream. ⺠The convection so induced by PV intrusion excites large GW activity near Indian sector. ⺠The GW propagation direction changes responding to the PV induced convective source.
