Abstract
⺠Quasi-two-day wave (QTDW) has been studied over Brazilian low latitudes during summer. ⺠Significant interannual variability is observed in the derived wave parameters. ⺠There is a modulation of the Q2DW amplitude by a wave of period â¼7-8 days. ⺠Interaction between the Q2DW and the diurnal tide is supposed to enhance the QTDW sometimes.
