⺠Ball lightning observers agree on appearance. ⺠Possible light emission mechanisms: plasma or incandescent particulates. ⺠Radiative transfer theory gives quantitative results for power needed. ⺠Particle density and temperature also predicted from theory. ⺠Results consistent with brightness and color observations.
