Abstract
⺠We have documented individual flux transfer events pushing each other into the polar cap. ⺠There is a one-to-one correlation between ion upflows and transient auroral forms. ⺠The new category of reversed flow channel events is opposing the background flow. ⺠Large velocity shears inherent in patch creation leads to severe patch structuring.
