Abstract
⺠DE2/DE3 nonmigrating tides cause longitudinal modulations of ionospheric quantities. ⺠The EEJ shows the same annual variation of DE2/DE3 tides as the zonal wind at MLT. ⺠The EIA responds to the tidal input 2 h later than the plasma drift. ⺠DE2/DE3 tidal signals appear in ionospheric quantities only during daytime.
