Abstract
⺠We discuss Convectively generated Gravity Waves during wet/dry spells of Indian monsoon. ⺠The strength of TEJ is found to be the main reason for inhibited/enhanced wave activity. ⺠Static stability of the mid-/upper-troposphere has implications in the observed frequency.
