Abstract
⺠Mesoscale modeling of observed wind profiles over the southern peninsular India. ⺠Meso-net data assimilated. Wind predictions at optimum horizontal resolution of 3 km. ⺠A bias of 3.84 m sâ1 (zero bias) exists in predictions for spring (monsoon) season. ⺠The instantaneous wind prediction is 83% in ±5 m sâ1 error bound for the spring. ⺠The prediction is 71% within the error bound during the monsoon season.
