Abstract
In the present study, we analyze the magnetospheric processes accompanied by midnight “pearls”— interval of pulsations of diminishing period (IPDP) sequence at the mid-latitude observatory Mondy (L=2.1). The pulsations were not obviously related to an individual substorm injection, but were generated at the time of intensification of magnetospheric convection. A “Wave-Particle Boiler” (WPB) model of the IPDP generation is used for the interpretation of the results obtained.
