Abstract
⺠Observed values of the galaxy surface density are contrasted with the theoretical values. ⺠As a result, the DM particle mass turns to be in the keV scale and the density profiles turn to be cored. ⺠We compute in addition the halo radius, galaxy mass, central density and particle velocity dispersion. ⺠These results reproduce observed values within one order of magnitude independent of the particle model. ⺠Our framework captures many essential features of dark matter in galaxies allowing to determine its nature.
