Abstract
We demonstrate how to solve the Kustaanheimo-Stiefel formulation of the perturbed Kepler problem using, as an example, the traditional benchmark of the Lunar problem. The main features of the (rather complicated) moon's motion are then derived in a relatively elementary manner.
