Abstract
This review summarises recent work and questions on QSO host galaxies. Observational issues are discussed and new possibilities noted. Topics are discussed, under the headings of observational biases, low and high redshift, black hole masses, radio morphology, and the role of galaxy mergers. Some key issues are noted.
