Abstract

The kinetics of photocatalytic degradation of Reactive Brilliant blue KN-R, Acid Scarlet GR and Reactive Brilliant red X-3B by UV–vis/H2O2/Ferrioxalate complexes were studied. Effects of initial concentration of KN-R solution, Fe2+, H2O2 and pH were investigated. Under these optimum experimental conditions, the removal rates of COD and TOC of three dyes were more than 80% and 65%. A pseudo-first-order kinetic model was adopted to represent the reaction.
