Abstract
⺠L-VRAP is a provisional instrument package on the proposed ESA Lunar Lander. ⺠Planned launch date of 2018, autonomous soft landing near the lunar South pole. ⺠L-VRAP, designed to measure the concentration, chemical and isotopic composition of volatiles. ⺠Contamination, its source and methods of countering their effects are considered. ⺠The L-VRAP package is described.
