Abstract
⺠Testing the large scale High Latitude ion Layer (HLL) in the Jovian outer mag-sphere. ⺠Cross-B field anisotropies monitor the ion northward/southward intensity gradients. ⺠HLL exists in the north hemisphere and in the south high-latitude duskside mag-sphere. ⺠HLL: a third energetic particle area coexisting with radiation belts and magnetodisc. ⺠Evidence for the detection of an energetic proton magnetopause boundary layer.
