Abstract
⺠We present results of crater studies at Amboy Crater as an analog to Gusev, Mars. ⺠Real-time wind measurements and active sediment deposition indicate reverse flow. ⺠Reverse flow is expected to cease within a d/D range from 0.02 to 0.05. ⺠Craters near the Spirit site have d/D from 0.034 to 0.076, suggesting reverse flow. ⺠Position of sediments in Gusev Craters indicate winds from northwest to southeast.
