Abstract
⸠We make nonlinear MHD simulations of interchange instability at the Io torus. ⸠We estimate time scales of the radial plasma transport and compare the observed ones, 20-80 days. ⸠The calculated time scales in two separate cases are 72 days and 2-3 days. ⸠We thus consider that a middle level between these extreme cases occurs in reality. ⸠We conclude that the radial transport could be controlled by the nonlinear effects of fluids.
