Abstract
⺠The search for organics on Mars is important to find the existence of a biological activity. ⺠This search will require a chemical extraction and derivatization step. ⺠We have developed a one-pot extraction using MTBSTFA and DMF for the SAM experiment on MSL. ⺠MTBSTFA-DMF extraction of martian analogs materials facilitated the detection of organics.
