Abstract
► Enhanced diurnal variation and Forbush decrease recorded with LFGNM in October, 1989. ► Neutron bunch-1 data displays large amplitude diurnal variation for ten consecutive days. ► Average phase is close to ∼ 1700 h direction. ► MEM spectral analysis further revealed semi-diurnal and tri-diurnal components also. ► Anisotropy observed with LFGNM in a distinct mode of recording bunch-1 is unique.
