Abstract

•We studied E1 transitions from 2s3l3l’ and 2p53l3l’ to 3l for tungsten W63+, where l, l’ = 0, 1, and 2.•Wavelengths, transition probabilities and oscillator strengths of the transitions are reported.•QED and Breit contributions and correlation effects have been considered.•Data of highly ionized tungsten are important in the diagnostics of fusion devices and in astronomy.

Energy levels and electric dipole (E1) transition parameters such as wavelengths, transition probabilities and oscillator strengths from the levels of 2s3l3l’ and 2p53l3l’ to 3l, (l, l’=0, 1, 2), in highly ionized tungsten (W63+, Na-like) have been reported. Highly ionized tungsten data are important, especially in the diagnostics of fusion energy devices and in astronomy. Calculations have been carried out from configuration interaction (CI) calculations using AUTOSTRUCTURE code (developed by Badnell) which includes Breit interactions and quantum electrodynamics (QED) contributions. The results obtained have been compared with other available works.
