Abstract
⺠Simultaneous retrieval of both target temperature and emissivity spectrum in the TIR spectral interval. ⺠Temperature and emissivity separation by a maximum entropy estimation procedure. ⺠The theory of MaxEnt estimation is discussed in detail together with a full description of the proposed algorithm. ⺠Application of the new TES algorithm to a representative test-bed is analysed and discussed by means of numerical simulations.
