Abstract
This work presents result of far-infrared spectra obtained (by synchrotron radiation as well as by the mercury lamp) from samples ZnxCd1âxTe (x = 0.056, 0.11, 0.16, 0.22, 0.28, 0.7). The results are obtained from two different polarizations for planes (1 1 1) and (1 1 0). The interpretation of this result is based on the model of five tetrahedron cells.
