Abstract
•Successful growth of Co3Sn2−xInxS2 crystals out of self and Pb flux is reported.•The composition of the grown crystals was investigated by WDX spectroscopy.•The crystal structure was investigated by XRD and Rietveld analysis.•Trigonal distortion and the 2D character are enhanced upon In-substitution.•The magnetic phase diagram is obtained and indicates a magnetic transition at xc=0.8.
