Abstract
⺠We propose new anisotropy function of kinetic coefficient for phase-field simulations. ⺠The new function allows us to simulate crystal growth with flat facets. ⺠The growth form may have arbitrary number of facets and face angles (high flexibility). ⺠We introduce new parameter to check validity of the anisotropy function. ⺠Using the function, we can simulate crystal growth to more general shapes.
