Abstract
												⺠We model the growth of a spherical particle affected by the interfacial kinetics. ⺠We obtain the approximate analytical solution of solidification of the particle. ⺠The growth velocity of the particle decreases as the kinetics parameter increases. ⺠The critical stability radius increases as the kinetics parameter increases.
