Abstract
⺠ZnSe single crystals have been grown by the chemical vapor transport method. ⺠N5+ ion implanted ZnSe single crystals show decrease in lattice constant. ⺠FWHM is found to increase with increase in implantation fluencies. ⺠Nitrogen bond formation in ZnSe crystals is confirmed using vibrational analysis. ⺠N5+ ion implanted ZnSe crystals show “blue”, “greenish” and “yellow” emissions.
