Abstract
⺠TCTZ single crystal of dimension 28Ã5Ã4 mm3 is successfully grown. ⺠3:1 water-acetone mixed solvent was chosen for the growth of bulk TCTZ. ⺠The structural, optical, thermal and mechanical properties are discussed. ⺠Etching studies show layer growth pattern, which indicate the 2D growth mechanism. ⺠The work hardening coefficient n suggests that TCTZ is relatively a soft material.
