Abstract
⺠A fixed-grid method has been adopted for simulations of the dopant segregation. ⺠The Stefan conditions are formulated in source terms in conservation equations. ⺠The solid interface is tracked implicitly. ⺠The formation of dopant striations is well reproduced by numerical simulations. ⺠RMF is found to have a significant impact on the axial mixing of the melt.
