Abstract
We proposed a novel concept for morphology control of barium titanate precursor to fabricate platy particles. Organic molecules play an essential role in the crystallization of BaTiOF4 to synthesize multi-needle particles, polyhedron particles or platy particles in an aqueous solution. Precursors were successfully transformed to barium titanate single phase by annealing. Platy barium titanate precursor particles are expected for future multilayer ceramic capacitors.
